Here Comes the Bus - Families with bus riders can use the Here Comes the Bus app to track bus transportation and receive updates about their student’s bus route.
Meal Viewer - The Meal Viewer website and app allows families to view school menus and plan ahead for meals available at school.
My School Bucks - My School Bucks makes it easy for families to add funds to their student’s lunch account and manage cafeteria payments.
Help keep arrival and dismissal safe and efficient by reviewing our transportation procedures. Please refer to the Carpool & Bus Loop Guide for important information about carpool, bus transportation, and walker/biker procedures.
If your student will be walking or biking to and from school, please complete the Walker/Biker Agreement before the first day of school.
Volunteers are an important part of the Pleasant Plains school community, and we appreciate the time and talents they share to support our students. Before volunteering, all individuals must complete the required WCPSS volunteer registration and background screening process. Once approved, volunteers should always check in at the main office upon arrival and follow school procedures during their visit.
For questions about volunteering, please contact the Wake County's District Volunteer Coordinator at volunteers@wcpss.net and visit the WCPSS Volunteer website for registration and additional information.
To support a focused learning environment, Pleasant Plains follows the WCPSS guidelines regarding personal electronic devices. Elementary students may bring cell phones and smart watches to school; however, devices must remain turned off and stored out of sight (such as in a backpack) during the school day.
Students should not use personal devices while at school, including smart watches. Exceptions may be made for approved health needs, communication accommodations, emergencies, safety plans, or other situations outlined by WCPSS policy.
